AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY FOR A TEACHERS MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAM AND STUDENT DATA RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--
A. Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to be allocated to the following:
(1) one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for expenses of a teachers master's degree program; and
(2) one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for student data research and analysis of twelve years of data.
B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
