AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PROMOTION OF A LADIES PROFESSIONAL GOLFERS ASSOCIATION EVENT IN SIERRA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 by the city of Elephant Butte to promote a ladies professional golfers association skin game to be held at the Turtle Back resort and golf course in Sierra county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
