AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS IN THE POJOAQUE VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for after-school programs for elementary- and middle-school children in the Pojoaque valley public school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
