AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CONTINUED PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT FOR FILM TECHNICIANS AT THE GRANTS CAMPUS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to support continued program development at the Grants campus of New Mexico state university for training film technicians, including purchase of equipment, supplies and film and providing stipends for industry mentors to train students. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
