AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE FINANCIAL LITERACY TRAINING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for culturally appropriate financial literacy training for teens and adults of the Ramah chapter of the Navajo Nation. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
