AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN VALENCIA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for the training and professional development of emergency services personnel, including law enforcement, firefighters and health care professionals, in Valencia county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
