AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE RESEARCH EDUCATION CENTER FOR EDUCATION, OUTREACH AND RESEARCH.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to provide education, outreach and research to be conducted by the sustainable agriculture research education center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
