AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE AGING AND LONG-TERM SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR DAYCARE, HOME CARE, SENIOR SERVICES AND RESPITE CARE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to contract with a nonprofit organization that provides daycare, home care, senior services and respite care in Santa Fe county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
