AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ARRAY OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty-five thousand dollars ($255,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to contract for the provision of an array of educational programs in Bernalillo county, including college entrance examination preparation, after-school tutoring, summer educational enrichment opportunities and adult computer literacy. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
