AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO INCREASE THE BASE BUDGET OF THE STATEWIDE NEW MEXICO POISON AND DRUG INFORMATION CENTER PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to increase the base budget of the New Mexico poison and drug information center of the college of pharmacy. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
