AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR YOUTH TRANSITIONAL LIVING SERVICES IN SANTA FE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for a Santa Fe transitional living program that provides apartments and life skills development for homeless youth ages sixteen to twenty-one. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
