AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT THROUGH TOURISM PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thirty-one thousand dollars ($331,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to support the rural economic development through tourism program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
