AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO MARKET NEW MEXICO FRUITS, VEGETABLES AND FOOD PRODUCTS AT DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE SHOWS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to support the New Mexico department of agriculture in marketing New Mexico fruits, vegetables and food products at domestic and international trade shows. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
