AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EXPANSION OF COMMUNICATION DISORDERS PROGRAMS AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for expansion of student clinical studies and practicum programs for communication disorders in the department of special education and communication disorders. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
