A RESOLUTION
AMENDING THE RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO PROVIDE
FOR POSTING VOTES ON FINAL PASSAGE ON THE INTERNET.
WHEREAS, the rules of the house of representatives may be
amended by a two-thirds' vote of all the members of the house
or by a majority vote of the members of the house upon the
recommendation of the committee on rules and order of business;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that House Rule
11-24-1 be amended to read:
"11-24-1 The vote on the passage of a bill, resolution or
memorial
shall be taken by yeas and nays, which
shall be entered in the journal and, within one day
of taking the vote, be publicly available on the
legislature's internet web site effective January
