committees of the NM Legislature. The LFC does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of these reports

if they are used for other purposes.

Adobe PDF versions include all attachments, whereas HTML versions may not. Previously issued FIRs and

attachments may be obtained from the LFC in Suite 101 of the State Capitol Building North.

Synopsis of Bill

House Resolution 3 proposes adoption of a new House rule, 9-5-7, that would prohibit House

members from participating in closed conference committee meetings and require that members

appointed to the conference committee notify the chief clerk of the time and place of the

meeting. The chief clerk shall post the time and place of the meeting in the chief clerk’s office.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

HR 3 has no impact on the general fund..
