SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 504 appropriates $100 thousand from the general fund for expenditure in FY08 to the
Cultural Affairs department for a youth after-school digital media arts and education program in
Santa Fe.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $100 thousand contained in Senate Bill 504 is a recurring expense to the
General Fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY08 shall
revert to the General Fund.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
The after-school digital media arts and education programs proposed in Senate Bill 504 will be
based on local and international culture and the New Mexico content standards, benchmarks and
