Synopsis of Bill
Making an Appropriation to Expand Mentoring Services in Unserved and Underserved Areas of
the State.
Senate Bill 337 appropriates $2,000.0 from the General Fund to the Department of Finance and
Administration to improve infrastructure development, including equipment, training, initial
staffing, recruitment and materials, to create new mentoring programs for children unserved and
in underserved areas of the state.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $2,000.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the General Fund.
