SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 280 appropriates $8,562.0 from the general fund to various state agencies for
various purposes for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 and fiscal year 2008. Senate Bill
280 carries an emergency clause.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $8,562.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general
fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008
shall revert to the general fund unless otherwise indicated. See attached spreadsheet for
appropriations by agency and purpose.

SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
Senate Bill 280 appropriates funds for certain projects that were included in Laws 2006,
Chapter 110 (Senate Bill 415) but were line-item vetoed by the governor.
COMPANIONSHIP
Senate Bill 280 is a companion to House Bill 2, House Bill 7 and Senate Bill 2 which
also appropriate funds for state agencies.
