committees of the NM Legislature. The LFC does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of these reports
if they are used for other purposes.

Adobe PDF versions include all attachments, whereas HTML versions may not. Previously issued FIRs and
attachments may be obtained from the LFC in Suite 101 of the State Capitol Building North.

Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 19 seeks to adopt the bolo tie as the official state tie of New Mexico.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
There will be minimal costs to update various state documents to include the official state tie.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
If the bolo tie is adopted as the official New Mexico tie, it will join some of the other
symbols used to represent the state, among which are the following:
