if they are used for other purposes.

Adobe PDF versions include all attachments, whereas HTML versions may not. Previously issued FIRs and

Synopsis of Bill

House Resolution 1 proposes to amend House Rule 9-1-2 so that “the floor leader who is not a

member of the chair’s political party shall designate a member of the committee as the ranking

member," and that no member appointed as chair or ranking member of any substantive

committee shall also be appointed as chair, vice chair or ranking member of any other

substantive committee.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

HR 1 has no fiscal impact on the general fund.
