SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 314 appropriates $400.0 from the general fund to the Department of Public Safety for
the purpose of contracting for services with New Mexico-resident vendors for state-of-the-art
training, using concurrent performance feedback, of volunteer and full-time firefighters, law
enforcement personnel and other emergency responders to decontaminate people involved in a
hazardous materials, radioactive or terrorism event.
