SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 907 amends the special registration plate section of the motor vehicle code to
eliminate the registration fee for motor vehicles of members of the National Guard.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
This bill may result in the reduction of revenue to the state by eliminating the fees for members
of the National Guard. However, the Motor Vehicle Department indicates that National Guard
members are currently not being charged registration fees. Thus, this bill may have little, if any,
fiscal impact.
