SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 464 appropriates twenty-seven thousand ($27,000) from the general fund to Children,
Youth and Families Department for expenditure in 2008 to contract with the city of Roswell’s
recreation department to coordinate an educational science festival for fourth, fifth, or sixth
grade and other gifted students in southeastern New Mexico that includes exhibits, workshops
and hands-on activities and demonstrations from state or national scientific organizations or
museums.
