Synopsis of Bill
House Transportation and Public Works Committee Substitute for House Bill 249 requires
legislative approval of any prohibition of commercial motor vehicles on a segment of state
highways within class A counties with a population of more than 300 thousand persons for any
period exceeding two years.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

This legislation would require approval of the state legislature for any prohibition of travel on a
