AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE

UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR AN INFLAMMATORY BREAST CANCER

RESEARCH PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million two hundred

fifteen thousand three hundred forty dollars ($3,215,340) is

appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of

the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal years

2008 through 2010 to develop and conduct inflammatory breast

cancer research in conjunction with the inflammatory breast

cancer clinic and research program at M.D. Anderson cancer

center of the university of Texas, the university of

Washington school of medicine and other medical research

universities or institutions. Any unexpended or unencumbered

balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert

to the general fund.
