AN ACT

RELATING TO RECORDING; REQUIRING DOCUMENTS IN A LANGUAGE

OTHER THAN ENGLISH TO BE RECORDED BY THE COUNTY CLERK IN BOTH

ENGLISH AND THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. RECORDING--DOCUMENTS NOT IN ENGLISH

TRANSLATED.--Any document in a language other than English

that is delivered to the county clerk to be filed and

recorded shall be translated into English, and both the

original document and the English translation shall be filed

and recorded.
