AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR INFRASTRUCTURE IN OR TO COMMERCIAL AREAS TO ENHANCE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE SOUTH VALLEY OF BERNALILLO COUNTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten million dollars ($10,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2007 through 2012 for infrastructure, including water, sewer and roads, in or leading to commercial areas of the south valley of Bernalillo county in the area that is bounded on the east by interstate 25, on the north by Woodard avenue, on the west by Second street and on the south by the Pueblo of Isleta. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2012 shall revert to the general fund.
