AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE TO ENHANCE INTERNATIONAL MARKETING OF NEW MEXICO AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($675,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for the New Mexico department of agriculture to enhance international marketing of New Mexico agricultural products. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
