AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A JOINT 4-H PROGRAM BETWEEN NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY AND LAS VEGAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS INVOLVING SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to support a joint 4-H program between the university and Las Vegas city public schools involving science, technology, engineering and math. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
