AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ENRICHED AFTER-SCHOOL MATH AND SCIENCE PROGRAMS USING EDUCATORS, ENGINEERS AND THOSE IN RELATED FIELDS TRAINED IN NATIONAL AERONAUTICS AND SPACE ADMINISTRATION TECHNOLOGY AND CURRICULUM IN THE ALBUQUERQUE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for after-school mathematics and science programs using educators, engineers and those in related fields trained in national aeronautics and space administration technology and curriculum in the Albuquerque public schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
