AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A MULTIDISCIPLINARY NATIVE AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for a multidisciplinary Native American film festival, to be held in Bernalillo county, which shall include Native American films, guest speakers, group dialogues, live storytelling and hands-on workshops. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
