AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM IN THE MORA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT IN MORA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-six thousand dollars ($86,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to support the after-school program in the Mora independent school district in Mora county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
