AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER AND A NURSE AT E.J. MARTINEZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN SANTA FE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to partially fund the salaries and benefits of a full-time physical education teacher and a full-time nurse at E.J. Martinez elementary school in the Santa Fe public school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
