AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE USE OF INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred five thousand dollars ($505,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to implement and operate learning support centers at the university of New Mexico to facilitate the use of instructional technology and improve student learning experiences. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
