AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO FUND AN EDUCATIONAL FILM ABOUT NURSING HOME CARE FOR THE ELDERLY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to fund an educational film about nursing home care for free distribution to help families make informed decisions about care for their elderly loved ones. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
