AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO EXPAND INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION INITIATIVES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred seventy-nine thousand eight hundred seventy-five dollars ($379,875) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to expand the university's international education initiatives. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
