Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 630
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 1, lines 15 through 17, strike "Four million six hundred thirteen thousand one hundred eighty-one dollars sixty-nine cents ($4,613,181.69)" and insert in lieu thereof "three million five hundred fourteen thousand six hundred dollars ($3,514,600)".
2. On page 1, line 25 through page 2, line 1, strike "two million seven hundred seventy thousand six hundred thirty-six dollars ninety-two cents ($2,770,636.92)" and insert in lieu thereof
"two million two hundred sixty-four thousand dollars ($2,264,000)".
3. On page 2, line 2, strike "fifteen" and insert in lieu thereof "ten" and after "for" insert "staff".
4. On page 2, line 3, after "attorneys" insert "excluding elected district attorneys".
5. On page 2, lines 6 through 8, strike "one million eight hundred forty-two thousand five hundred forty-four dollars seventy-seven cents ($1,842,544.77)" and insert in lieu thereof "one million two hundred fifty thousand six hundred dollars ($1,250,600)".
6. On page 2, line 8, after "all" insert "elected", after "attorney" insert "and" and after "permanent" insert "non-attorney".
7. On page 2, line 9, strike ", other than elected district attorneys," and after "a" strike "nine" and insert in lieu thereof "five".,
and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
