AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SCHOOL BAND UNIFORMS IN OTERO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ninety-five thousand two hundred ninety dollars ($95,290) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 for band uniforms for Alamogordo public schools in Otero county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
