SENATE BILL 574

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 16, after the semicolon insert "ADDRESSING CONTINGENT PAYMENT CLAUSES;".

    2. On page 6, strike lines 21 through 25 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof "A contingent payment clause in a contract shall not be construed as a waiver of the right to file and enforce a mechanic's or materialman's lien pursuant to Sections 48-2-1 through 48-2-17 NMSA 1978."".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
