AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR QUALITY SERVICES FOR EARLY INTERVENTION FOR ELIGIBLE CHILDREN, REIMBURSEMENT OF PROVIDERS FOR SERVICES RENDERED WITHOUT COMPENSATION AND INCLUSION OF ADDITIONAL ELIGIBLE CHILDREN IN THE FAMILY, INFANT AND TODDLER PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four million three hundred thousand dollars ($4,300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to ensure quality services for early intervention for eligible children, reimbursement of providers for services rendered without compensation and inclusion of additional eligible children in the family, infant and toddler program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
