AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO BE USED FOR A MATCH FOR THE SOLE COMMUNITY PROVIDER FUND PROGRAM IN SANTA FE COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million seven hundred thousand dollars ($3,700,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2007 and 2008 to be used by Santa Fe county to match the sole community provider fund program at the human services department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
