SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE

FOR SENATE BILL 440

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 15, after the semicolon, insert "ESTABLISHING MINIMUM HOURS FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE;".

     2. On page 2, line 13, before "and", insert "within three hours of driving the vehicle".

     3. On page 2, line 15, after "vehicle", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 16 up to the semicolon.

     4. On page 2, line 21, before "and", insert "within three hours of driving the commercial motor vehicle".

     5. On page 2, line 22, strike "as", strike line 23 in its entirety and strike line 24 up to the period.

     6. On page 3, line 5, before "and", insert "within three hours of driving the vehicle".

     7. On page 3, line 6, strike "as", strike line 7 in its entirety and strike line 8 up to the semicolon.

     8. On page 3, lines 24 and 25, strike "and not more than forty-eight hours".

     9. On page 5, line 16, after the comma, insert "not less than". 

     10. On page 6, line 5, after the comma, insert "not less than". 

     11. On page 14, lines 2 through 9, remove the brackets and line-throughs and strike all underlined language, and on line 2, strike the subsection designation "F." and insert in lieu thereof "G.".
