AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ELEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT TO FUND A PRETRIAL SERVICES PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ninety-seven thousand eight hundred dollars ($197,800) is appropriated from the general fund to the eleventh judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to provide for three full-time employees and operating expenses for a pretrial services program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
