    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 353

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 12, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following new section:

    "Section 4. A new section of the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Practice Act is enacted to read:

    "[NEW MATERIAL] COMPLIANCE WITH UNITED STATES FORMULARY.--When compounding drugs for their patients, doctors of oriental medicine shall comply with the compounding requirements for licensed health care professionals in the United States pharmacopoeia and national formulary."".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
