    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 298

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, lines 18 and 19, remove the brackets and strike-through and on line 2, strike "Appropriations" and insert in lieu thereof ", appropriation".

    2. On page 2, lines 4 through 6, remove the brackets and strike-through and on line 6, after "years" insert "upon approval by the department. The department shall make quarterly reports to the legislative finance committee concerning all authorizations of payment for prior fiscal years.".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
