AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTINUE THE RE: LEARNING PROGRAM TO SUPPORT SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to continue the re: learning program to support school improvement in all grades of public schools statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
