AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND THE LOCAL PROGRAMMING OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY'S PUBLIC BROADCASTING RADIO AND TELEVISION STATIONS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred seventy thousand dollars ($470,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to expand the local programming of the university's public broadcasting radio and television stations. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
