AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NURSING PROGRAM AT WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred seventy-six thousand three hundred fifty-five dollars ($676,355) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to expand the nursing programs at western New Mexico university and gain accreditation of the bachelor of science in nursing program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
