AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR EXPANSION OF THE MUSIC PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to expand the music program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
